Delicious and hearty gourmet meals and a superb selection of beverages including fine wines, will be served daily and will be included as part of our hospitality package. Menus and dining locations will be created in conjunction with yourselves and of course special menus will be arranged for those who require this facility.
For champagne receptions, luncheons and afternoon teas off course, a location in close proximity to the course will be arranged.
Breakfast
Breakfast will be served every morning from 07:00 – 09:00, and
patrons will have the choice between traditional Scottish or Continental selections.
Champagne Reception
Prior to daily luncheons, a champagne
and canapé reception will
be organized either on course or
off course.
Lunch
A four course luncheon will be served daily with fine wines either
on course or off course.
Afternoon Tea
Traditional afternoon tea will be
served daily either on course or off
course.
Dinner
Dinner venues will be organized for every evening to enable you to
immerse within the culture of St. Andrews and experience some of
the grandest settings in town. For those who do not wish to go
out to the organized dinner venues, alternative arrangements will be made.
Vienna Suites
The Vienna Suites are private suites
for fifty guests within the official
hospitality village. The hospitality
complex at St. Andrews is located
in a prime location, allowing guests
to enjoy the highest standards and
the finest hospitality.
Bar
There will be a complimentary bar
throughout the day where golfers
may enjoy a variety of alcoholic
and non-alcoholic beverages as
well as coffee and tea.
Private Marquee
If desired, we will arrange to have an additional private marquee at
Argyll Lodge, Hepburn Lodge or on course.
Entertainment
Dairsie Castle
Dairsie Castle with its magnificent medieval setting, provides an exclusive and
appropriate ambiance in which to entertain you. Located approximately six
miles from St. Andrews, the Castle will be the predominant venue for
evening banqueting and traditional Scottish festivities.
The Castle will also be the starting point for any helicopter excursions.
Kinnaird House
In the beautiful wooded valley of the Tay, sits one of Scotland’s most unique
hotels: Kinnaird. Situated in a magnificent 9,000 acres of spectacular
Perthshire countryside, the Kinnaird Estate comprises the original
Edwardian mansion and eight charmingly furnished individually-styled
cottages, located at secluded spots around the estate.
Kinnaird House Hotel has been booked exclusively for Wednesday 13th
and Thursday 14th July.
Interested parties will be transported by helicopter and will enjoy an
evening and one night stay in one of the nine rooms and will return to
St. Andrews the following day.
The hotels desirable location enables visitors to fish for trout or salmon
either on the Tay or on one of the three lochs on the estate. It also provides
tennis, croquet, lawn bowling, golfing and clay pigeon shooting facilities
not to mention miles of majestic countryside, which can be enjoyed.
Transport and Excursions
Transport
A fleet of ten Mercedes vehicles with full time chauffeurs will be available
at all times and will be the predominant mode of transport to and from airports
and evening venues.
Helicopters
To ensure a quick and efficient mode of transport to other golfing venues
or places of interest as well as unforgettable views of the Scottish landscape,
we are able to provide three, eight seater Sikorski helicopters on
call everyday during the Open. The helicopters will be based at Dairsie
Castle and the hospitality package will include up to five hours fly time per
helicopter each day.
Excursions
As a part of our hospitality package, we will organize 300 golf passes to
nearby golf courses such as Gleneagles, Gullen and North Berwick. Other
golf courses may be booked upon request; however, this is limited to availability
and subject to travel time and access restrictions.
